The successfull fusion of Occidental Jazz and Traditionnal Senegalese Music

with Simon Goubert : drums / Sophia Domancich : piano / Jean-Philippe Viret :  dbass

Only a few projects gathering occidental jazz musicians and african musicians success fusionning these musics. But African Jazz Roots does !

The music composed by the famous drummer Simon Goubert, and enlightened by the Kora of Ablaye Cissoko, makes both a tribute to John Coltrane and Senegalese Sabar.

A music that emphasizes the shared musical foundations of both languages.
